The origin.

The beginning of the very end.

Who is the sweet and tainted soul that ruined her lineage?

Kidnapped as her village and family burned, she is face to face with the devil, herself. A mere baby, the last of the Milan clan; the last princess to save them. Unlike her older sisters; Kamilah is coward and naive to the cruel world and all of its inhabitants.

Selling her soul for protection for her family is what she believes is the best thing since she's so small and her family's worth is on stake. She must marry the Pharoah and help Echidna leave the underworld to take over as ruler. In order for this to happen, she must be pure and bare only pure heirs for Echidna to posses.

All is well as she is allowed home and molded into the perfect princess.

That is until she makes it to the palace in all of its galore and is met with kind brown eyes and a charming smile. Sesmu.

She was smitten the second he appeared and Kamilah realizes in order to protect her family she must refrain from doing any further damages, but how? When his words chill her to the core and his touches soothe her anxious heart. He is the pillar of stability when compared to the cold Pharoah. Her "future" husband, who ignores her to cater to her many sisters.

Why didn't Echidna warn her of true and first love? Why did it hurt so much?

How did she know that the consequences of her actions would ruin her so? Especially when she lives as long as he and watches as he falls for another tormented soul.

A contract she broke cost Kamilah so much more than she was willing to give, and now mere jealousy is the least of her concern.

But wouldn't she love to get vengeance on his new beau?
