Gaining a Platform

Social media is at its peak, there's no denying it.

We have influencers all over; Instagram, YouTube even Tik tok. How can one make a difference when there's so much competition?

This is the daily question for myself. How can I, amongst millions of authors and creative people, gain a social platform that's not only successful but reflects me, personally.

When researching how authors tend to become successful, I've learned that this does not happen over night as it seems online; they're sleepness nights, constant worry and the thought of intense competition makes anyone uneasy.

Staying relevant is hard, almost impossible because as trends fade so do people. Holding the attention of a group of people is a talent in itself.

Staying consistent and making sure your product(s) is as polished as possible and Staying authentic to one's self is necessary.

One day I'll look back and be in awe at how small I once was and remember the days of uncertainty I once felt when sharing my work with the world. I'll remember how hard I fought and how I grew my craft and focused on bettering myself to create better work.

I hope that you follow me down this rabbit hole and we can reflect years from now. I hope to be in a different place this time next year.
